As our client base grows, so does the number of applications we’re dealing with. To help control this growth we’re introducing a limit on API requests.
Legitimate API users often send too many API requests in a very short period of time (often within minutes or seconds) which can overload our infrastructure and bring down the API for all users. We need a way to prevent these genuine consumers from misbehaving. The solution is rate limiting.
Beginning August 1, the limits we have defined will be based on four tiers (Basic, Premium, Plus, and Enterprise), with each tier granting a certain number of requests per second. These limits are applied to developer applications using the Fundpeak API.
