Calculate portfolio composition from trades or instruments

1) Calculate from trades
- You can simply upload your trades from a file (see here for more information) and then let TopSheets to calculate portfolio composition data (such as Geography Exposure, Holdings, etc.) automatically from trades.
- When uploading your file, tick the “Calculate portfolio composition from trades” checkbox and then click “Save” (see picture below).
- Please note that trades must not have CloseDate values entered in order to successfully import weights. If CloseDate is entered, the values are stored in history.
2) Calculate from Instruments
The same option is also available for instruments in the Portfolio Composition section. You can find the same checkbox on the very bottom of this section (see pictures below).
